STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Bible
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be fully inspired (verbal plenary) of God and hence the authoritative Word of God ever settled for eternity. Inerrant in its original autographs, it is the infallible revelation of God to humanity. We believe the Bible is the ultimate supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, morality, conduct, and practice. (Ps. 12:6; Lk. 1:37; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)
The One True God
We believe the LORD God of the Bible is the one true God. There are no other gods beside Him. He is the all-wise Creator, Redeemer, and the self-existent “I AM.” God is triune in nature eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is distinguishable but indivisible in essence, co-eternal, co-existent, co-equal in nature, attributes, power, and glory. This 3-in-1 relationship is referred to as the Trinity. (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 45:5; Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:38; 1 Cor. 8:6; 2 Cor. 13:14)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the eternal Son of God who was made flesh, was born of a virgin, performed miracles, and lived a sinless life. He was crucified for the sin of the world, and thus in a substitutionary and vicarious work atoned for our sin through His shed blood on the cross. He was bodily resurrected from the dead on the third day and was exalted to the right hand of God. According to His promise, He will return again in power and glory. He is the One Mediator, fully God, fully man, in whose Person is effected the reconciliation between God and man. He is Lord of all. (Isa. 9:6; Matt. 1:23, 28:6; Lk. 1:35, 24:39; Acts 1:9, 2:22; 1 Cor. 15:3; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3, 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:22)
Salvation
We believe man was created good and upright; however, by voluntary transgression, humanity fell and the curse of sin and death (both physical and spiritual) came into the world and passed upon all men. All humanity as a result of the fall is by nature born out of right relationship with God and marred by sin. We affirm that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We believe that humanity’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other name given under heaven whereby people can be saved. The simplicity of the Gospel is that if any person willingly repents of sin and puts their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ they will be saved. Thus, salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ alone. (Gen. 3:17-19, 12:3; Mk. 10:45; Jhn. 3:16; Acts 4:12; Rom. 10:9-13; 2 Cor. 5:15-19; Eph. 2:8; 1 Jhn. 2:2)
The Great Commission
We believe it is the command of Christ that all believers preach the Good News of His coming, redemptive death, glorious resurrection, and soon return to all peoples. This commission is the Mission of God, who desires that all be saved and reconciled unto Himself. We therefore believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15; Jhn. 3:16; Acts 1:8; 1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9)
Holy Living
We believe God has called Christians to a life of sanctification—a life of separation from sin and evil, and total devotion unto God. Sanctification is both an instantaneous and continuing work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer that begins at the moment of regeneration. It is the duty of every believer to walk in a path of purity and holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord. The ability to live a holy life is derived from the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. (Jhn. 17:17; Rom. 6:11; 1 Cor. 1:30; 2 Cor. 7:1; Phil. 3:12-14; 1 Thess. 4:3, 5:23; Heb. 12:14)
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe subsequent to and distinct from salvation there exists an experience all believers are promised. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came to empower believers for the Great Commission. This is known as the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This ministry affirms that the initial physical evidence of receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the normative biblical practice of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Jl. 2:28; Matt. 3:11-12; Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 2:38-39,10:44-46, 19:1-6)
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe in, affirm, and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit detailed in 1 Corinthians 12. This ministry believes that the gifts of the Spirit are available today to be used for the advancement of the Gospel. This ministry likewise believes that we serve a miracle-working God. Signs and wonders still follow the preaching of the Gospel and as the Creator of the entire universe touches people with His power, there will often be a moving response. (Mk. 16:20; Acts 2:33, 4:16, 13:52; Rom. 15:19; 1 Cor. 12:1-11; 1 Thess. 1:5; Heb. 2:3-4)
Divine Healing
We believe divine healing is an undeniable aspect of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Deliverance and healing from all sickness and physical illness is the privilege of every believer. Divine healing and health are wrought by the power of God through various methods and means detailed within the Word. (Ex. 15:26, 23:25; Ps. 103:3; Isa. 53:4-5; Matt. 8:17; Lk. 6:19; Acts 10:38; Jam. 5:14; 1 Pet. 2:24)
Further Benefits of Redemption
We believe in His substitutionary death on the cross, Christ redeemed all those who put their faith in Him from the curse of the Law and the curse of sin. As such, we believe it is the will of God for believers to live whole, abundant lives. It is the right of every believer to seek the full benefits of Christ’s redemptive work in the spiritual, mental and emotional, physical, and financial realms. (Deut. 28:1-14; Isa. 53:4-5; Jhn. 10:10; Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor. 5:17, 8:9; Gal. 3:13-14; Phil. 4:19; 2 Tim. 1:7; 1 Pet. 2:24; Rev. 3:5)
The Soon Return of Jesus Christ
We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ which includes the Rapture of the Church, which shall occur prior to the Great Tribulation. The Rapture is the imminent Blessed Hope of believers. Following the Great Tribulation, Jesus shall visibly return to earth, accompanied by the saints, to establish His Millennial Kingdom. The soon return of Christ adds urgency to our evangelistic effort which is why we labor so hard to evangelize others, knowing that time is extremely short. (Jhn. 14:3; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; 1 Thess. 4:16-17, 5:2; Tit. 2:13; Rev. 16:15, 20:1-6)
Final Judgment and Eternity
We believe there will be a final judgment where the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet will be assigned to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire which the Bible calls the second death. God will afterward create a new heaven and a new earth where everybody present will be right with God and dwell with Him for eternity. (Matt. 25:46; Mk. 9:43-48; 2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 20:11-15, 21:1-2, 21:8)
